A panel discussion on the book "Education, Equity and Inclusion - Teaching and Learning for a Sustainable North" held at ASSW 2023

EICN project published an open access book "Education, Equity and Inclusion - Teaching and Learning for a Sustainable North" in January 2023. The editors of the book held a panel discussion at Arctic Science Summit Week 2023 in February. The session started with introduction to the project by editor Janette Peltokorpi. Following the presentation, a panel discussion was held. The panelists were Professor and editor Tuija Turunen (University of Lapland), Professor and editor Diane Hirshberg (University of Alaska Anchorage) and Professor and editor Mhairi C. Beation (Leeds Beckett University). After the discussion there was time for questions from the audience.

The EICN project is funded by UArctic project funding for Networking Activities on Arctic Research and Education, allocated by Danish Agency for Science and Higher Education (DAFSHE) and managed by UArctic International Secretariat. The project ended on February 2023.

The project is led by Ilisimatusarfik / University of Greenland and coordinated by University of Lapland. The project partners are Copenhagen Business School, Leeds Beckett University, Memorial University of Newfoundland, UiT The Arctic University of Norway, University of Alaska Anchorage, University of Iceland and the University of the Faroe Islands.
